Welcome to Miss En Scene. Here you'll find reviews, interviews and features with a focus on women in film (and occasionally television). The original site was started in 2018 for the reasons outlined in my first post.
I am a passionate film programmer, critic, and curator with a strong interest in the representation of gender in cinema. Over the last five years I have curated several successful film programs and spoken extensively on the topic of women in film. I am dedicated to amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups and promoting diversity and inclusivity on and off the screen. This online space is a big part of that, so thanks for reading!
